GRAD NITE at WILSONIt may seem far off – particularly for those of you with Freshmen or Sophomore students. But Grad Nite is coming. Planning is underway for GRAD NITE 2012, and we can already see how beautifully this safe and sane celebration is coming together. But we still need you. Wilson High School is one of the few schools in the area whose GRAD NITE celebration is 100% our own. We’re not renting out a hotel or big party room that none of the kids have ever been to, we’re not shipping them off to Knott’s Berry Farm or to Disneyland for a generic celebration that hundreds of other schools in the area can and do duplicate. We transform their educational home for the last 4 years into a fitting, star-studded send off and thank you. The Wilson High School seniors are the stars at the party and they are treated as such. There’s a wall full of photos of the kids from kindergarten through middle school – There’s a magnificent array of food and beverage options – There’s dancing, there are card tables, video games, rock walls to climb and a sense of senior camaraderie that is all the more powerful because it is the last time these kids will gather together at the school they’ve shared for the last 4 years. This is a great event. We need your help to keep it moving forward, to keep it alive and thriving for the next senior class, and the next and the next. ALL OF THIS HAS BEEN DONE EXTREMELY WELL AND SUCCESSFULLY BEFORE. EACH COMMITTEE HAS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED TO MAKE SURE THE NEXT COMMITTEE CHAIRS AND VOLUNTEERS AREN’T STARTING FROM SCRATCH. YOU CAN DO THIS. WE NEED YOU. CONTACT CJ Crockett to volunteer or for more information: e-mail her at siege.29@verizon.net or call (562) 619-0825. Woodrow Wilson Classical High SchoolNewsTHE WINTER 1 ACTS OPEN NEXT WEEK!!!
