The English Department Mission, Vision, and Values

 Mission

The mission of the Woodrow Wilson High School English department is to help students develop their reading, writing, listening, speaking, research and technology skills in order to be successful lifelong learners.

Vision

Every student will become a competent communicator using language arts skills successfully in his or her academic and professional careers.

Values

Teachers will promote the values of integrity, responsibility, diversity, school spirit and traditions, appreciation for literature, student success, written expression, verbal communication with small and large groups, as well as being technologically literate.

***COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY***
Volunteer at the Lowell Elementary School Carnival on May 14!

This is a fun and easy way to get community service hours and help the local community.
 
The Lowell Carnival is looking for at least 25 Volunteers to help on Saturday, May 14 from either 8am-1pm or 12pm-5pm, or all day.

The Lowell PTA will provide lunch and refreshments for the volunteers and promise a fun-filled environment!
