Coach Glenn
Coach Glenn

Coach Glenn began playing lacrosse at the age of 9 in Long Island, NY.  During his high school career, he was a varsity starter at Northport HS all four years and team captain for 2 years. After High School, he moved to California, where he attended CSULB and actually started the original Cal State Long Beach Men's Lacrosse Club. Coach Glenn played all 4 years while attending CSULB. He has even played post-collegiate and masters division Lacrosse with several local club team s ini the So. Cal area. In an effort to share his love of the game and bring the sport to the youth of Long Beach, he worked tirelessly with local youth club, Beach Cities Youth Lacrosse, in promoting and growing the sport, coaching and serving as the President of the Board for BCYLAX. (He even coached some of our current Wilson players!)  His is a certified and trained Lacrosse Referee, proud dad of two Wilson students and our head coach!  Be sure to give Coach Glenn a big fist bump when you see him! Coach can be reached via email

Asst. Coach ian wilmott

Coach Ian grew up on the east coast in a small town named Barre located in Central Vermont. He began playing Lacrosse at the age of 12 and instantly had a love for the game. A two-sport, four-year athlete throughout high school, (soccer being the other sport), Ian quickly rose to the spotlight of his team. Starting on varsity as a freshman, and lead attack sophomore year, Ian was a two-time nominee for NEPLS (New England Premiere Lacrosse Showcase), first time all-state, first time all-league, in the Senior showcase, and he represented the state of Vermont as a member of the Vermont team for Nationals. Ian was recruited out of high school to Castleton University in Vermont.  He served as Assistant Coach for his high school Varsity team before moving to Long Beach in 2014. After relocating to sunny So Cal, Ian began playing post collegiate Lacrosse for a club travel team (Venice) on the SCLax League. When Ian isn't crushing it on the Lacrosse field, he works for the Long Beach Fire Department as an ambulance Operator/EMT. We are so grateful to have Ian's "cool" factor and epic Lacrosse skills to share with our boys this season. Welcome Coach Ian!
