Homework during September - Conditioning from Home

Conditioning Workouts on your own 3x per week.

Send "workout proof e-mails" to Coach CJ at cj.brewer.csulb@gmail.com. Emails only.... no texts or DMs. Make sure to include your name in the body of the email.

One workout per day. Three per week. Due weekly by Thursday Night.

This will count towards your participation grade in the class.

Workout #1 - Strength

Warm-up and Stretch. Find a place to work on your core, arm, and leg strength. Make sure to incorporate all three of these into your routine. Focus on areas you may have a specific weakness and make it a strength. This workout should last for at least 45min. Make sure the stretch after you are finished.

Email Coach CJ a sweaty picture titled "Strength" to prove you did it!

Workout #2 - Endurance

Warm-up and stretch. Go on a run in your neighborhood for 45min. Use an app on your phone to track your distance AND pace AND total time. You are shooting for the lowest average pace/mile. If you can hold 7min/mile pace for 45min, then you are in good shape. Anything lower than that is studly! Make sure the stretch after you are finished.

Email Coach CJ a screenshot of the app to prove you did it... make sure screen shot has distance AND pace AND total time included.

Workout #3 - Speed

Warm-up and stretch. Find an area and mark off a 60m section (half of a soccer field). Sprint as fast as you can from point to point. Resting for 90seconds between each sprint. Focus on quality when sprinting. Max effort. Lean forward. Stay on your toes. Pump your arms forward. Do 20 of these sprints in total. This workout will last around 35 minutes. Make sure the stretch after you are finished.

Email Coach CJ a sweaty picture titled "Speed" to prove you did it!
