Wilson Girls Volleyball Results on Max Preps

Good morning Bruin families! First and foremost, My staff and
I are grateful for the opportunity to coach at Wilson High
School! We can’t wait to get started! I just wanted to give
everyone an update. The process of getting the staff cleared is underway! As soon as we have information
on when we will host the tryouts we will send out another
message via email , school website and all social media
outlets! Once again we are grateful and excited to begin our
journey at Wilson! #GDTBAB

Do I have to complete the sports Physical information?

Yes, all of the information in the Student Athletic Survey must be completed, including your Clearance Packet and Sports Physical will need to be completed before your daughter is allowed to practice or play in a match.  There will be no exceptions.

 

My daughter has a current sports physical but it will expire mid-season, what should I do?

I strongly encourage your daughter to get a physical that will last throughout the entire season.  The best date to schedule would be a week before our first official practice.   As a coach, it is very difficult to manage 3 teams, fundraising, schedules, uniform orders, sizing, and follow up and oversee expiring physicals.  Note:  Sports Physicals will not be required at tryouts, however, an emergency information form and proof of medical insurance will be required before your daughter is physically eligible to tryout.

 

How do I organize my daughter's class schedule?

Your daughter is responsible for choosing her pathway and by completing the student survey, counselors will be aware and prepared to adjust her schedule accordingly.

 

Does everyone make the team?

No, we have a very competitive program, but we encourage everyone to tryout.

Milan Stokes Press-Telegram Dream Team Player of the Year

 

 

Sadie Emery and Camille Araujo also were named to the Dream Team.

 

 

 

The Bruins defeated Chadwick 25-19 and 25-11 in the best of three match on Monday, September 14th to claim the Division 2 Championship in the Dave Mohs Tournament hosted by Edison High School.

Camille Araujo was named to the all tournament team along with her teammate Milan Stokes who was named tournament MVP.
