PSAT/SAT/ACT
SAT School Day -Wednesday, March 27, 2019 (Juniors Only)
On Wednesday, March 27, 2019, Wilson High School will be participating in the national 11th grade SAT School Day Administration. Testing will take place in:
- Media Center
- Big Gym
- Small Gym
- Selected Classrooms
Students with an IEP or 405 Plan will receive a notice of their testing location by Monday, March 25, 2018.
Upon completion of testing, Junior will be dismissed (ONLY).
Students can bump up their Fall 2018 grade in ELA and/or Math by 2% for meeting SAT benchmark or by 5% for having a score of 600+. Also, we are extremely excited to announce that The top 5 students who show the most growth from their fall PSAT to their Spring SAT exam will earn a Chromebook!
on Testing day (Reminder)
-Please bring your school or California ID ready to prove your identification. No one will be permitted into the testing room once the exam has begun, so be sure you are on time!
-Please bring a calculator, pencils, snacks, and water. We recommend not having your cell phone. However, if you bring your cell phone, IT MUST BE TURNED OFF!
-This is the day schedule (for juniors ONLY!)
7:50-12:30ish: Testing
12:30-1pm: Lunch/dismissal
psat/sat available at wilson at no cost
We offer all students the opportunity to take the PSAT/SAT with Essay every October at no cost to families. In March, juniors are scheduled to take the SAT with Essay. Our students take the following test:
Fall - October
9th Grade - 8/9 PSAT
10th Grade - PSAT/NSQT
11th Grade - PSAT/NSQT
12th Grade - SAT with Essay
Spring - March
11th Grade - SAT with Essay
No need to register ahead of time for these specific tests.

CollegeBlue Print SAT test prep (11th Grade Only)
The Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) in partnership with Collegeblue is supporting eligible 11th-grade students with SAT Preparation Program to prepare them for the SAT at no cost to families. The test preparation program offers 38 total hours of SAT Preparation: 25 hours of instruction, 10 hours of exams and 3 hours of college planning. The hours are spread out across eight Saturday morning sessions January through March. Enrollment is typically in October.
